Our Age-Defying Strength System is a comprehensive coaching program, designed by World-Class Powerlifter Francine Rattray, based on a goal-specific strength training program, habit and lifestyle management, responsive support, and sport nutrition guidance.

Hi, I’m Coach Fran!

I am the owner of Infitiny Strength Coaching, an ACE Certified Personal trainer, competitive World-Class powerlifter and Certified Sport Nutrition Specialist. My current primary sports are Powerlifting, CrossFit and ultra-distance running.

I am also an Indigenous Governance lawyer, wife and mother of three incredible children.  I grew up in the lower mainland of BC and live with my family in North Vancouver.

In addition to gym training, I am a lover of all sports.  Trail running, snowboarding, hiking, biking, paddling, surfing, volleyball, obstacle course racing, hockey, diving, karate, tennis, ultimate frisbee, soccer, swimming - you name it, I’ve probably tried it.   When injuries from ultramarathon trail racing forced me to hang up my running shoes, I found my passion in POWERLIFTING.

I am grateful for all I have learned over the years from amazing coaches, colleagues and friends in the CrossFit and powerlifting communities.  I have experienced the value in having an inspiring, knowledgeable coach at my side; what a game changer it can be for your motivation, progress, health and confidence. 

I have also learned profound life lessons from competing, like how set clear goals and follow a specific plan for getting there, how to push past mental and physical limits, and how to keep going in the face of fear and anxiety.  Learning to lift weights has literally changed my life in so many positive ways.

My focus is on strength training, movement coaching and lifting mechanics.  I will help you boost your confidence inside the gym and out.  Resistance training is also powerful tool for injury prevention and recovery, with proper technique and a well-designed progressive training program. 

Prioritizing our fitness is not always easy – injuries, age, chronic pain, lack of motivation, career, kids, weight struggles and fear are common hurdles. Having overcome many of these challenges myself, including severe back problems, I help my clients break down these barriers with realistic, sustainable strategies.  For me, the key to keeping motivated is to constantly evolve physically and mentally, by always trying new things and challenging yourself.
